We get tremendous support from our Georgia Ports Authority Board of Directors, the Georgia Legislature and Governor Brian Kemp to ensure Georgia Ports plays an important role in ensuring supply chain competitiveness.

We appreciate the support we get from our customers – the ocean carriers, the importers and exporters, and our partners in the trucking industry, the warehousing and logistics industry and the communities we serve.

With over 35 ships a week calling the Port of Savannah and 15 ships a week calling the Port of Brunswick, our gateway ports are economic engines, creating 651,000 full and part-time jobs which is 12% of Georgia’s employment. They create $174 billion in sales which is 11% of Georgia’s total sales. Georgia Ports contributes $10 billion in federal taxes, $3 billion in state tax revenues and $3 billion in local tax revenues.
