Georgia the Southeast gateway for Ro/Ro

With secure Roll-on/Roll-off facilities in Brunswick, the Georgia Ports Authority is the second busiest in the nation for total Ro/Ro trade. As a dedicated RoRo facility without container competition, the Colonel’s Island Terminal in Brunswick features three on-terminal auto processors, including International Auto Processing, Mercedes-Benz USA, and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions. The Port of Brunswick offers three modern Ro/Ro berths, served by nine steamship lines. Current annual capacity is more than 900,000 vehicles. Full build-out will provide 150,000 spaces for automobile processing, for an annual capacity of 1.5 million vehicles.
