The proposed project consists of the demolition of an existing underwater pile-supported bridge footing located along the Savannah River.  The footing measures 40’-0” W x 80’-0” L x 16’-0” H and is supported by HP14x73 piling. The approximate soffit elevation of the structure is -48.0’ Mean Low Water (MLW). The scope of the project includes underwater excavation, underwater concrete demolition, pile extraction, commercial diving, and other ancillary items.
