The proposed work consists of extending the reinforced concrete deck overlay south throughout Shed 2 and raising required access doors.  The overlay will also extend east to the two existing hoppers with their foundation reconstructed and ramps constructed transitioning to the existing surface.  The Valve Room man doors are to be removed and sealed with CMU block and the existing support columns shall be encased in concrete.  Existing compromised concrete piles shall be repaired with Prefabricated Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) pile jackets and filled with grout.  Reinforcing steel shall be added to maintain structural integrity of the compromised piles.  Additionally, vertical dowels are proposed to be drilled/post installed into the existing deck and capitals at select piles.  The project is located at the East River Terminal, Brunswick, Georgia.
