Gift retailer 1-800-Flowers.com will open Atlanta distribution center

Online gift retailer 1-800-Flowers.com will soon occupy a 260,000 square-foot leased space in Atlanta. The location is scheduled to be fully operational in October.

1-800-Flowers.com’s e-commerce business platform features brands including 1-800-Flowers.com, 1-800-Baskets.com, Cheryl’s Cookies, Harry & David, PersonalizationMall.com, Shari’s Berries, FruitBouquets.com, Moose Munch, The Popcorn Factory, Wolferman’s Bakery, Stock Yards and Simply Chocolate.

“The facility will support fulfillment of gifts from the company’s gourmet food brands including Harry & David, Wolferman’s Bakery, Moose Munch, Cheryl’s Cookies and The Popcorn Factory, as well as some floral products,” said company spokesperson Kathleen Waugh. “This will allow the company to better serve its customers in the Southeast U.S., Texas and Oklahoma.”

1-800-Flowers.com currently operates a 1.1 million square foot manufacturing, distribution and administrative facility in Medford, Ore.; and warehouses, offices and plants in Ohio, Illinois, Jacksonville, Fla.; Nevada; and Memphis, Tenn.
