Ameraal Beltech, a leading global manufacturer of lightweight conveyor belting, will invest $19 million into a new production plant in Buford.
Founded in 1950, Beltech designs, manufactures, fabricates and services conveyor belts that can be found in 150 countries.
The facility will create 83 jobs and make a variety of synthetic conveyor belts that can serve different types of products.
“We are excited to expand our Americas infrastructure to provide a new level of service and response to our distributor and OEM customer base,” said Niels van den Boogert, vice president and general manager of Ammeraal Beltech Conveying Solutions.
The construction is set to begin this fall.
