WebstaurantStore, a global food service supplier, will open a distribution center in Chatham County, creating more than 100 jobs.

 WebstaurantStore was founded in 2004 and provides customers with a streamlined  purchasing experience. The company is the largest online supply store for the restaurant industry.

While the company is new to the Savannah area, it is not new to Georgia. WebstaurantStore has two facilities in Albany and employs more than 350 Georgians

“We are excited about our new location. It will be located seven miles from the Port of Savannah. This location will be very beneficial in helping the company meet its goal of providing excellent customer service with the fastest shipping possible,” said Scott Getek, director of WebstaurantStore’s Southeast operations.
