The proposed work consists of providing all materials, equipment and labor required to complete the fabrication, installation, and associated electrical infrastructure for seven (7) new refrigerated container racks, four (4) in CB1 and three (3) in CB2 with an additive bid for an additional eight (8) racks in CB8 at Garden City Terminal. Specifically, the project consists of all works required to provide and install concrete foundations and bearing pads, four story steel framed rack structures and all associated electrical works. The racks are fur-story open steel frames structures, approximately 7 feet wide by 53 feet long by 36 feet high. The electrical works consists of pulling all power, installing plug boxes and reefer outlet assemblies on each rack, to power (24) refrigerated containers that are stacked 6 wide by 4 high. Electrical works also include furnishing and installation of all safety equipment, plugs, reefer outlet assemblies, switchgears, lighting and receptacles for each reefer rack level and safety provisions per the construction documents.
Non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on December 5th, 2022 @ 10:30 AM at the GPA Headquarters Administration Building Conference Center.
