SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Transportation has decided NOT to close Talmadge Bridge in Savannah.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Georgia Ports Authority will continue normal operations at its Savannah and Brunswick terminals through Thursday. GPA is closely monitoring the storm’s track and will provide further updates to mobile devices as conditions develop.
Employees can also track storm-related changes to port operations and work schedules at gaports.com.
Forecasters expect Hurricane Ian to weaken to a tropical storm before reaching Georgia. The storm is expected to bring 5-8 inches of rain and wind gusts up to 41 mph Thursday night into early Friday morning.
