SAVANNAH, Ga. — Roads are clear

Based on the current track of Hurricane Ian, GPA is conducting regular administrative and yard operations today.
 
At Garden City Terminal, Gate 4 is open today until 9 p.m. Gate 8 is open until 5 p.m. On Saturday, Gate 4 only will be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 
GPA is targeting Saturday morning to resume vessel service in Savannah.
 
Gates at Ocean Terminal in Savannah will be open until 5 p.m. Friday.
 
Terminals at the Port of Brunswick also will be open until 5 p.m. Friday.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — GPA terminals will remain open

Based on the current track of Hurricane Ian, GPA will conduct normal administrative and yard operations Friday.
 
At Garden City Terminal, truck gates will be open Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday (GATE 4 ONLY) from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 
GPA is targeting Saturday morning to resume vessel service in Savannah.
 
Gates at Ocean Terminal in Savannah will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
 
Terminals at the Port of Brunswick also will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Transportation has decided NOT to close Talmadge Bridge in Savannah.

The Houlihan Bridge in Port Wentworth remains open to vehicular traffic, but has been closed to marine traffic.
 
The Sidney Lanier Bridge in Glynn County closed to vehicles at 9 a.m. today.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Georgia Ports Authority will continue normal operations at its Savannah and Brunswick terminals through Thursday. GPA is closely monitoring the storm’s track and will provide further updates to mobile devices as conditions develop.

Employees can also track storm-related changes to port operations and work schedules at gaports.com.

Forecasters expect Hurricane Ian to weaken to a tropical storm before reaching Georgia. The storm is expected to bring 5-8 inches of rain and wind gusts up to 41 mph Thursday night into early Friday morning.

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Based on the latest storm-tracking data, the Georgia Ports Authority anticipates no disruption to operations at the ports of Savannah and Brunswick related to Hurricane Ian.
