The start times to work vessels – 6 a.m., 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. – bring the Port of Savannah to a new total of eight start times per day. Vessel operations in Savannah are performed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

With eight start times a day and a new lay berth in Ocean Terminal opening in May, we’re offering more schedule flexibility to ocean carriers to make their Savannah port calls faster and easier.
Importers and exporters will also benefit from improved supply chain speed.
