GPA will provide a checker-foreman to check cargo discharged from a vessel and, at GPA‘s discretion of will also provide checker-foreman to supervise the release of cargo loaded during both straight and overtime hours. The charge for each checker-foreman will be based on current labor rates in Rule 5-185 of MTOS No. 5, subject to a one (1) hour minimum. The charge will be billed to the ocean carrier or its agent, unless otherwise approved by the GPA. GPA reserves the right to provide as many checker-foreman as deemed necessary to protect its interest.
