The Authority sanctions the operating of a chassis pool by the South Atlantic Chassis Pool (SACP). This pool provides an adequate number of chassis for use by pool members, as well as the Authority for the Authority’s own terminal operations. as part of it’s operations, SACP will include specialty equipment, such as tri-axle and underslung genset chassis, in the pool, and will manage the inventory of such as part of their normal operation.

Any other such equipment will be treated as driver / motor carrier owned or controlled upon arrival at the Authority’s terminals, and will not be permitted to remain on said terminals.
