Georgia Ports Authority Chairman Kent Fountain presents a gift ship’s clock to Dr. Ricaurte Vasquez Morales, the Panama Canal Authority Administrator as a gesture of appreciation, following GPA executive meetings and a canal tour.

The Panama Canal is one of the world’s most strategic waterways for global supply chains, serving over 12,000 ship transits annually – many of which also call Georgia Ports – as a first port of call and the fastest growing port in the U.S. East Coast and Gulf.

Georgia Ports salutes the visionary leadership of Dr. Morales to maintain the water infrastructure necessary to support the canal’s crucial role in world trade.
