The proposed project consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to complete the construction of a new Inland Port Facility approximately five miles north of Gainesville, Georgia.  Site work shall include clearing, grubbing, excavation, backfilling, grading, compacting select material for subgrade, installation of graded aggregate base course, paving with roller compacted concrete and asphalt, the construction of an operations building and storage building, associated rail and track infrastructure, and electrical construction. The project includes the construction of the infrastructure related to entrance and exit gates, including but not limited to credentialing stations, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) portals, over height protection tee poles, gate arms and security fencing.  Utility work includes the installation of new drainage piping, underground electrical/telecommunication conduits, high mast light poles and fixtures, and other ancillary items. The project will be constructed in accordance with the requirements of INFRA 2021 grant funding.
