The proposed project consists of the demolition of the existing 50,000-sf ‘Rubb’ building (a tension fabric warehouse) and the civil infrastructure for a 100,000-sf pre-engineered metal building warehouse. In addition, this project also includes the paving of an access road around the warehouse. Demolition work includes removal and disposal of warehouse, concrete structures, utilities, and other miscellaneous items. Site work includes backfilling, grading, compacting select material from off-site for subgrade, installation of a graded aggregate base course, paving with hot mix asphaltic concrete, and installation of traffic control devices such as signage, guard booth and striping. Utility work includes the modification of existing drainage, water and sewer and the installation of new drainage piping, concrete drop inlets, yard inlets, underground electrical/telecommunication conduits, and other ancillary items.
