To: Subscribers and Users of Marine Terminal Schedule 4-C

 

Effective October 1, 2015, the Georgia Ports Authority is issuing changes to the the above referenced Schedule

 

This changes are as follows:

 

Rule 34-300 Cargo Handling

An increase of 1/2 cent per bushel in delivering and receiving rates.

 

Rule 34-310 Dockage

New working dockage rates based on per GT per call, rather than per GT per 24 hour period. Also, the two-tier scale for idle / lay vessels is being averaged into one rate.

Rule 34-315 Dock Maintenance

An increase of $15.00 per vessel, making the new rate $645.00.

 

Rule 34-320 Line Handling

An increase of approximately 2.5%

 

Rule 34-325 Overtime

An increase of approximately 2.5%

 

Rule 34-335 Standby Labor

An increase of approximately 2.5%

 

Rule 34-340 Stevedore Facility Use Fee

An increase of 1 cent per 2,000 pounds

 

Rule 34-343 Terminal Security Surcharge

An increase of approximately 3.5%. This the first increase in this surcharge since October of 2011.

 

Rule 34-345 Treating, Conditioning, Cleaning, Screening, Etc

Malathion treating and mixing / turning are both being increased by 182 cent per bushel.

 

Rule 34-355 Vessel Detention

An increase of approximately 2.5%

 

Rule 34-360 Water

An increase of 5 cents per 2,000 pounds, with no increase in the minimum charge.

 

Rule 34-365 Weighing

An increase of approximately 2.5%

 

Rule 34-370 Wharfage

An increase of 5 cents per 2,000 pounds

 

This new Schedule will be available for viewing at www.gaports.com no later than September 18, 2015.

 

For subscribers to this Schedule, revised pages will be e-mailed prior to October 1, 2015.
